The majority of Ukrainians (78%) believe that Ukraine was not ready for the Russian invasion.
This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology. This is despite the fact that Western intelligence agencies had been publicly warning since early November 2021 that Russia was preparing to attack Ukraine. About four months passed between the first warnings and the start of the invasion in February 2022. Why were they not prepared for a major war?
